Welcome to The Burnhams Surgery
The surgery is open Monday to Fridays 08.00am to 06.30pm.
We offer extended opening on Tuesday mornings, Thursday mornings and Wednesday evenings for pre-booked appointments.
Emergencies: If you need to see a doctor or nurse in an emergency you can call the Surgery on 01328 737000 during opening times or the patient can be taken immediately to the Surgery if well enough to be moved.
Out of Hours: Please call the Out of Hours Service via Telephone no 111. You will be asked for your name and telephone number by the operator and the Doctor will call you back to ask about your symptoms after which he will either give advice or ask you to come and see him at the emergency surgery. He will come and see you if he considers it necessary.
If your call is not an emergency please make an appointment in the normal way.
Home Visits
Please telephone the Surgery 01328 737000 before 10.30am. We have a large practice area and visiting patients at home should only occur if they are unable to attend the surgery. Home visits are generally for acutely ill patients who cannot travel, those receiving terminal care and house bound patients. Our community car scheme can bring patients to the surgery as needed.
